LAS VEGS, NV, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Graphion Energy Solutions Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with global icon Manny Pacquiao and Manny Pacquiao Ventures to accelerate electric mobility, clean energy infrastructure, and energy independence across Southeast Asia.

The agreement creates a commercial and financial framework covering brand representation, product sales, regional expansion, local manufacturing, and the joint development of clean energy projects.

Under the agreement, Pacquiao will serve as a core business partner, shareholder, brand ambassador, and member of Graphion’s Board of Directors. He will also act as a principal spokesperson for Graphion Energy Solutions Inc. and Bona Inc., Graphion’s planned Philippine subsidiary. Pacquiao will hold equity interests in both companies.

The partnership will focus on several key initiatives:

-Gasoline-to-electric vehicle conversions: Converting private, commercial, public transportation, and government vehicles to electric power.

-Solar-powered rapid-charging stations: Deploying charging stations supported by solar generation and battery storage to strengthen energy independence.

-Microgrids and battery storage: Providing reliable electricity for remote communities while improving grid stability and renewable energy integration.

-Local manufacturing and assembly: Establishing in-country operations to create jobs, train local workers, and strengthen regional supply chains.

-Carbon credit transactions: Using digital technology to process and manage eligible carbon credit payments generated by clean energy projects.

Graphion will lead engineering, manufacturing, systems integration, and equipment deployment. Pacquiao and Manny Pacquiao Ventures will support market access, strategic partnerships, and engagement with government and private-sector stakeholders.

-Reducing Transportation and Energy Costs
Graphion’s expansion is intended to provide an alternative to rising gasoline prices, which the company estimates have increased by more than 50% in certain areas during relevant comparison periods. Based on Graphion’s preliminary operating-cost estimates, electricity for an electric or converted vehicle may cost approximately one-tenth of the equivalent gasoline expense in some markets. In Lao PDR, the cost may be as low as one-twentieth under certain conditions because of comparatively affordable electricity. Actual savings will depend on local fuel and electricity prices, vehicle type, usage, efficiency, charging source, and other operating factors.

By combining electric vehicle conversion technology with solar-powered rapid-charging stations and battery storage, Graphion aims to lower transportation costs, reduce exposure to gasoline price volatility, and promote greater energy independence.

-Expansion in Cambodia
On July 12, 2026, Graphion signed a partnership agreement with GenRich Investment to expand its operations in Cambodia. The partners are developing a large showroom in Phnom Penh that will feature Graphion’s electric vehicle conversion systems, rapid chargers, solar charging equipment, and energy storage technologies.
Graphion and GenRich Investment are also working closely with relevant Cambodian government stakeholders to explore local manufacturing and assembly opportunities. The initiative is expected to support job creation, technical training, fleet electrification, and Cambodia’s transition to cleaner transportation and energy.

-Growth in Lao PDR and Across ASEAN
Graphion is also expanding in Lao PDR and other ASEAN markets. The company has submitted a patent application in Lao PDR relating to its gasoline-to-electric vehicle conversion technology, supporting its strategy to protect and commercialize its intellectual property throughout the region.
The Philippines will serve as an important operating market through Bona Inc., while activities in Cambodia and Lao PDR will contribute to Graphion’s broader regional network of showrooms, conversion centers, manufacturing facilities, and solar-powered charging stations.

-Creating Jobs and Cleaner Communities
Localized manufacturing, vehicle conversion, assembly, installation, and maintenance will form an important part of Graphion’s ASEAN strategy. These operations are intended to create skilled jobs, provide workforce training, build local engineering capabilities, and strengthen domestic supply chains.

Converted electric vehicles produce no tailpipe emissions. When powered by solar energy and other low-carbon electricity sources, they can also help reduce overall carbon emissions, improve local air quality, and decrease reliance on imported fossil fuels.

The partnership will explore integrating Graphion’s rapid-charging and clean energy technologies with Pacquiao’s existing business portfolio, including IGNITE Power and MP Coffee.

The parties also plan to utilize Manny Pay as a primary digital transaction platform for processing and managing eligible carbon credit payments generated by their clean energy initiatives. This integration is intended to provide a streamlined and transparent financial system for green infrastructure projects across ASEAN.
